Each year in the city of Saskatoon thousands of trees are cut down and fated for wood chips, firewood or being hauled to the landfill. Here at Lost River Timber, we give these trees a second life by turning them into usable lumber, slabs, furniture and works of art. Our goal is to make a difference by reducing the amount of waste going into our city landfill and reducing the amount of carbon released from chipping the wood. We believe that every tree that comes down, no matter its size, shape or species, is a unique opportunity to create something new. We make an effort to utilize as much of each tree as possible to reduce any waste of wood.
